    I think snapcaster would be good in the sideboard for the mirror matchup. It feels like it would be pretty strong and control is one of the stronger archtypes right now

    That main phase fetch/surveil into Phlage in round 3 was one of the most "play to your outs" examples of situational knowledge. Flipped that game from way behind to winning with one move!

    36:26 I think the statement about invert polarity is incorrect, when you cast Invert Polarity against Force of Negation, by gaining control of Force of Negation you have resolved Invert Polarity, hence you can't make Force of Negation to target Invert Polarity and you will have to target your own "The One Ring", you essentially had a 50/50 chance of countering the Force of Negation. I'm happy to be explained otherwise.

    • @sergiodelatorre9127
      @sergiodelatorre9127 Месяц назад

      I just double checked this, gaining control of the spell and choosing new targets are both things that happen while invert polarity is resolving, since it is still resolving it is still in the stack making it a legal target for force of negation making it fizzle

    Nearly every Match on Pro tour stream He lost, he lost to the 2 Drop that takes your energy away. I think the greatest weakness is no good answer to this hate card neither in the sideboard nor in the Mainboard. And with him getting so far and all the other energy decks this hate card will be there even more often. I might be wrong but i feel a good answer is needed. At least 2 endings or something in this direction

      ending is not great at dealing with suncleanser because the damage is done already when you can't wrath because of the thread of chord for suncleanser. I see more jeskai decks play leyline binding again as well as some amount of solitude

    jeskai certainly the more powerful deck than UR wizards but UR doesnt lose to moon and on the contrary can play it themselves. also it is the best deck in the format at maximizing tamiyos power which is not nothing. I think generally you should pick jeskai, but UR certainly has its spot in the meta. for example if amulet titan makes a comeback after the nadu ban I would be happy to sleeve up UR wizards with lots of flame of anor, subtlety and harbinger again. Also not having to bother with tune the narrative and just play 4 tamiyo 4 preordain instead feels much nicer and more consistent

    is tune the narrative good enough? It helps get to wrath of the skies for 2 mana, but also so does Galvanic cause it kills most things and it has leftover energy most of the times. I swapped out to preordains to test but its too early to tell. I like to dig deeper for sure, but the residual energy is nice. Maybe I could split them. Ill keep testing it out thanks for the VEEDEOS

    • @ZachPettit-e4u

      I think you have to play it. Cantripping is a staple of control decks in every format and having an additionally enabler card is huge for the energy package. Discharge is way better than tune in a vacuum but for the Jeskai control deck you just don’t have the slots or the gameplan to play stuff like guide of soul that help enable energy in the low-to-the-ground aggro/midrange energy builds

      I don’t hate it in the deck tbh. The upside is alright on your opponents end step, and it doesn’t feel bad pitching it either since it’s not really impactful.
      It’s also a blue card and usable in every matchup. Spell snare feels much much worse in matchups like living end that don’t really play 2 mana spells. Subtlety also doesn’t stop the cascade trigger in that matchup, so until you can sideboard it’s a rough matchup
      I would say for modern league on mtgo it’s worth bringing blood moons, at least on sideboard, for the nadu matchup
